ASELSAN INNOVATION MANAGEMENT

As one of the leading technology companies in our country, ASELSAN considers innovation management as an important part of its corporate structure in order to maintain its competitive advantage in its sector and to achieve its vision and strategic goals. In this direction, ASELSAN updates its innovative projects every year with well-attended meetings in order to increase its technological competence.

Our Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management Department was established with the aim of making our organizational structure capable for innovation. Through our department, which continues its activities in both Istanbul and Ankara campuses, studies are carried out to disseminate and systematize entrepreneurship and innovation in the ecosystem both within and outside the company. In line with this goal, we interact with entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial candidates by actively participating in many entrepreneurship and innovation events held in our country.

Comprehensive collaborations are established between our Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management Department and the entrepreneurship ecosystem. For this purpose, joint studies are carried out with various universities, technoparks and public institutions. It is planned to continue these studies in the future.

In order to support the development of the technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem in our country, we became a stakeholder in the TÜBİTAK BiGG entrepreneurship support program. In addition, as one of the main stakeholders of TEKNOFEST, that is one of the largest technology events in the world, ASELSAN undertakes the task of organizing the related technology competitions. In addition to these, our company organizes joint open innovation competitions with many ecosystem stakeholders, especially public institutions and organizations.

In our company; innovative ideas proposed in the fields of product, service, process, business model and organization are constantly collected and evaluated within the scope of open and closed innovation; and ideas that are found appropriate, are promptly implemented.

As a company, ASELSAN which is R&D-focused, technology-driven that invests heavily in technology and is the leader of its sector; within the guidance of ASELSAN Innovation Strategy aims to maximize its innovation capability for sustainable growth, maintaining competitiveness and reinforcing its technological leadership. Innovation is an important component of its corporate culture as a vision of ASELSAN innovation management.

ASELSAN Innovation Strategy covers the systematic and sustainable implementation of all innovation practices, from incremental to radical, in various fields. ASELSAN aims to increase the active participation of internal and external stakeholders in its activities with the aim of developing the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
