Unchanging ASELSAN Signature in R&D and Innovation Rankings
According to the "R&D 250, Turkey's Companies with the Highest R&D Expenditures" survey prepared by Turkishtime and announced in 2021, ASELSAN was the company with the highest R&D expenditure in 2020 with TL 3,356,327,355. According to the results of the same survey, ASELSAN was Turkey's leader and the champion of the R&D 250 with 1117 female personnel employed at its R&D Center. With 5,264 undergraduate and graduate experts working in R&D, ASELSAN ranked at the top in terms of human resources, just as it did in terms of expenditures. Another striking feature of ASELSAN is that it has nearly twice as many undergraduate and postgraduate personnel as the next company. 8th Technology Development Zones, R&D and Design Centers Summit and Award Ceremony
Every year, the Ministry of Industry and Technology evaluates the performance of the previous year's R&D Centers and rewards these performances at this summit. With the arrival of T.R. Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mustafa VARANK, the 8th Technology Development Zones, R&D and Design Centers Summit was held on November 12, 2021 at Kocaeli Informatics Valley.
According to the 2020 ASELSAN Consolidated Performance Index data, our company ranked first in the field of "Employment of the Highest New R&D Personnel" and ASELSAN ranked third with its R&D performance in 2022 in the E category of R&D Centers leaders (among companies employing more than 250 R&D personnel).
Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager, Prof. Dr. Haluk GÖRGÜN, and Director of Technology and Innovation Management, Ali EKİZ, attended the summit to receive the awards.
ASELSAN ranked among the top three companies in the Innovation Strategy category at InovaLIG 2019. The second prize was presented to Assistant General Manager of Financial Management, Mehmet Fatih Güçlü, by Minister of Trade, Ruhsar Pekcan, and President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), İsmail Gülle, at the award ceremony held in Istanbul.
The award ceremony was broadcast during the innovation week, organized online, with the President and ministers as speakers.
ASELSAN competed in the final with the companies THY-Teknik, EnerjiSA, Arçelik, Kırpart and Akkim.
